The The Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce (“the Chamber,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Membership applications. When you apply to join, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and related business details.
- Contact and newsletter forms. When you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the details you submit — typically your name and email address.
- Account and sign-in. Members sign in with a secure email link or a Google account. We receive the email address associated with your sign-in.
- Payments. Membership payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure systems — the Chamber does not store your full card number.
How we use your information
- To process membership applications, renewals, and payments.
- To communicate with you about your membership, events, and Chamber programs.
- To send newsletters and updates you have asked to receive.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services.
Service providers we share data with
We share information only with vendors that help us operate, and only as needed to provide our services. These include Stripe (payment processing), Beehiiv (newsletter delivery), Supabase (secure data hosting), and Google (optional sign-in). We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use cookies to sell your data to third parties.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at chamber@mypittsburgchamber.org.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the data you entrust to us.
Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
