What the chamber brings
Chamber staff coordinate the ceremony, invite the people you ask for below, bring the ceremonial ribbon and scissors, and photograph the moment. We also do our best to get elected officials there. Photos go to you and into chamber channels — newsletter, social and the member directory.
When we hold them
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 4:00 PM is the latest start time.
Saturdays by special request only — tell us why below and we'll do our best, but weekday slots are far easier to fill with a crowd.
Please request your date 4–6 weeks out. 28 days is the minimum we can accept — turnout depends on notice.
What it costs
Free
For chamber members. It's part of what your dues already cover.
$250
For businesses that aren't chamber members yet. Covers staff coordination, promotion and photography.

A ribbon cutting is $250 on its own. Membership starts at $79/month and includes your ribbon cutting free — plus a directory listing, member events, referrals and a voice in how Pittsburg does business.

- Send us this request with two dates that work for you.
- We check the calendar and confirm one of them by email — usually within a few business days.
- If you're not a member, we email a payment link once your date is held. Nothing is charged before we've confirmed a date that works.
- We promote the ceremony, show up with the ribbon, and celebrate you.
